The Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift depart
Grande-Bretagne in July 2027.
The countdown has begun for the yellow jersey to return to the UK in July 2027 – and what a welcome it will be! Both the 2027 Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift editions of the race will roll out of UK locations, marking a historic milestone for the events outside of France.

Echoing the scenes of the 2014 Grand Départ in Yorkshire, stages planned for England, Scotland and Wales will showcase Britain’s diverse landscapes, alongside the nation’s enthusiasm for cycling. It’s set to be the largest free sporting spectacle in British history as millions are expected to line the streets, with the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift a major draw given its first staging in the UK.

Beyond the bike racing, an ambitious social impact programme will deliver long-lasting benefits for thousands of people across the country by tackling inactivity, improving mental wellbeing, boosting economic growth and supporting communities to thrive. This is a sporting moment that will drive lasting benefits for the sport - and everyone who rides a bike.
